Franciscan University is being forced to end a student health insurance program due to new requirements mandated in Obamacare. The Catholic college, located in Ohio, is one of the many religious institutions that's facing a reality far different than what was promised by President Barack Obama. Despite Franciscan University being Catholic, they don't qualify as a religious institution under Obamacare's strict parameters. Instead, they are forced to provide free contraceptives and increase their maximum coverage two-fold under the rules of Obamacare, making their student health insurance program too costly. The university has chosen to drop the program entirely, thanks to Obamacare.
