Obamacare Causing More Universities to Drop Health Care Coverage

Last month we reported that Franciscan University in Ohio dropped their health insurance plans for students because of Obamacare. As a Catholic institution, it was first a moral decision, but also financial because it raised premiums. This trend of universities dropping health insurance for students due to Obamacare is growing, as many warned it would. The requirements of the law eliminate previously affordable plans. And unlike political allies of the White House, these universities didn't receive Obamacare waivers.
