A few weeks during the GOP presidential debate, Mitt Romney, author of Romneycare, which was the backbone of Obamacare, blamed the passage of President Obama's alleged health care law on Rick Santorum. Although he wasn't in the Senate at the time, Santorum supported and campaigned for Arlen Specter (R - PA) because he was part of the Senate Judicial Committee. With two Supreme Court positions up for nomination during Obama's first four years, Santorum chose to support a liberal Republican because he felt he'd vet the judicial activists that Obama would appoint. As it turns out, Specter voted for Obamacare, which Romney blamed on Santorum. It was a pathetic argument, but Santorum was caught off guard. But we'll likely find a very different story come March 15.
