EPA Holding Job-Killing Regulations Until After Election

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is arguably the most radical bureaucracy under Barack Obama.  Led by the extreme slob Lisa Jackson, the EPA has been circumventing Congress and enforcing mandates to impose Obama's radical agenda.  These regulations include unrealistic gas mileage standards for automobiles and a dictate that carbon dioxide, the air we breathe, is a greenhouse gas.  Senator James Inhofe (R - OK) has asserted that the EPA is punting more regulations until after the election because they "spell doom" for jobs and the economy.

“The Obama-EPA plans to move full speed ahead to implement this agenda if President Obama wins a second term,” Inhofe writes. “These rules taken together will inevitably result in the elimination of millions of American jobs, drive up the price of gas at the pump even more, impose construction bans on local communities and essentially shut down American oil, natural gas and coal production.”

Everything with the Obama White House is a calculated political effort.  New EPA regulations will kill jobs and further hurt the economy, but they will also further the radical liberal agenda.  Controlling as many aspects of the environment and energy output simply takes away freedom and choice from the individual.  These regulations will have nothing to do with safety or protection, although that's how they'll be spun - they will stifle innovation and give the EPA significantly more control at the expense of jobs.

The 14-page report cites pending regulations on a wide range of environmental-economic issues including those on power plant emissions and hydraulic fracturing.

The report concluded that pending overall regulations on greenhouse gases if enacted would cost $300 billion to $400 billion annual and significantly increase the price of gasoline and home heating.

“The requirements are so strict they virtually eliminate coal as a fuel option for future electric power generation,” the report states. “In a thinly veiled political move, the agency has put off finalizing the proposal until after the election.”

When the details are unearthed, the EPA is gunning to further regulate areas that they already regulate.  The concern here is how regulations are being withheld until after the election in order to hide their destructive nature and how it will impact every American.  Team Obama knows the details of his second term, but they are hiding this information because of how extreme it is.  Obama will deem an election victory as validation for his presidency and agenda and will impose as much as possible by fiat.

A second Obama term will destroy the United States as we know it.
