Political Correctness Played Role in Islamic Radical's Fort Hood Shooting

It was almost three years ago when Islamic radical Malik Nadal Hasan killed 13 people at Fort Hood in Texas. A troubling aspect with Hasan, and with many situations similar to this, is that there were signs indicating he was a ticking time bomb - and in this case, hell-bent on the destruction of America. Hasan's shooting was deliberately treated differently by the media because the shooter was Muslim. Therefore, many people who had the power to do so, refused to acknowledge that his religion played a role in his motive. A new report now confirms that political correctness played a role in why he wasn't investigated sooner.
FOX News obtained the report on the Fort Hood shooting, which faults the FBI for failure to properly assess Major Nadal Hasan and his radical, anti-American ideology. Most importantly, though, is the mention that political correctness played a role as a reason not to further investigate this home-grown terrorist. What's also notable is the failure of the FBI to cite Islamic extremism as the primary cause of this incident.
Failure to specifically name the cause and motive behind such an attack inevitably leads to future attacks of a similar nature. Turning a blind eye because of political correctness is at the core of liberalism, which is an ideology that doesn't rank national security, even in today's day and age, as very important. Once again, we've seen how politics under the Obama administration have left America in a more vulnerable position.
