What was that sound? It was senior citizens getting thrown under the bus by the AARP. House Republicans in the Ways and Means Committee today released a report that accuses the AARP of putting money ahead of their alleged interest, senior citizens, for $1 billion in insurance royalties by letting health insurers use their name. Republicans are calling on the IRS to investigate the liberal organization's nonprofit status. When the AARP came out in support of Obamacare, which cuts Medicare by $500 billion, it was clearly about the money, not what's best for senior citizens.
