GM Suspends Chevy Volt Production Due to Slow Sales

Late yesterday it was announced that General Motors (GM) is suspending production of their fledgling Chevy Volt electric vehicle. The announcement came from Automotive News, which cited unnamed sources that the United Auto Workers (UAW) union told workers at one of the plants in Detroit that scheduled downtime was planned between September 17 and October 15. GM didn't respond to the news, but said they match supply with demand, which is enough validation.

The former Carter administration hack sets the tone for the non-network MSNBC, which means they get their talking points straight from Media Matters and the White House. And yesterday morning was no exception, as the incoherent Matthews attempted to label the Republican Party and Mitt Romney as racist.

It's situations like these where liberalism rears its ugly head, forcing you to ask yourself, "was that really just said?" Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary Kathleen Sebelius is an absolute nut job when it comes to abortion, making her a perfect fit to implement Obamacare. On the issue of the contraception mandate in the law, Sebelius views this as a free service, sharing what little she knows about economics. However, it was her response to how this gets covered that was more troubling: a reduction in the number of human beings.
