Wasserman Schultz: Comparing Obama to Italian Cruise Captain "Incendiary" But Blames Tea Party for Arizona Shooting

E-mail Print PDF

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is the liberal flamethrower that's chairwoman (or man?) of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).  No, she doesn't have any legislative accomplishments, but does excel in promoting liberal propaganda and dividing the country.  Yesterday during an interview, Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus compared President Obama to the disgraced captain Francesco Schettino, infamous for the Costa Corcordia disaster earlier this month.  It's an appropriate comparison, given how Obama does not lead and how he's abandoned the country in order to win re-election.  This didn't sit well with the DNC yenta, who called the remarks "incendiary," despite her blaming the Tea Party earlier this month for the Gabby Giffords shooting in Arizona.

Here was Priebus' comment:

"In a few months, this is all going to be ancient history and we're going to talk about our own little Captain [Francesco] Schettino, which is President Obama, who is abandoning the ship here in the United States and is more interested in campaigning than doing his job as president."

In response, the despotic liberal said:

"I'm not going to give any credence to those incendiary remarks. … For the RNC chairman to compare the president of the United States to someone who has been charged with manslaughter shows a dramatic level of insensitivity to the families of those victims."

Apparently, the repulsive Wasserman Schultz felt the comment was incendiary.  Unless someone wanted to misinterpret the comment, there's nothing to misinterpret.  What's funny, though, is how this woman has the gall to accuse her opposition of being incendiary, when she blamed the Tea Party for the Arizona shootings; when Vice President Joe Biden called Republicans terrorists and rapists for not passing Obama's phony jobs bill and for opposing the debt ceiling increase; and there are too many examples to list.

Yup, Republicans are incendiary, but only when Democrats can make a phony issue of it.  We're simply supposed to ignore the, literally, violent and hateful rhetoric that comes directly from the Democratic Party's top ranks and the White House.  After all, this is liberalism: do as I say, not as I do!
