It's bad enough that liberals and the media have gone out of their way to spread misinformation and blame Sarah Palin and the Tea Party, among others, for Saturday's shooting in Tucson, Arizona. That's just the tip of the iceberg, though. There have a been fake Facebook pages claiming to be Jared Lee Loughner, the psychopath that murdered six people and injured over 20 others, including Congressperson Gabrielle Giffords. The Facebook profiles are a ridiculous attempt to further place blame on those who were completely uninvolved with the tragedy.
There was a tweet this morning that linked to Jared Loughner's alleged Facebook profile. We remained skeptical because the following people were listed as his inspirations:
-
-
-
- Chairman Mao
- Che Guevara
- Noam Chomsky
- Kenyan-born Barrack Hussein Obama (that's how it was listed on the site)
- Saul Alinsky
- Hugo Chavez
- Joseph Stalin

It made perfect sense. Most of these individuals are Communists - we can debate Obama's ideology another day - and with Loughner listing The Communist Manifesto as one of his favorite books, it was the connection that would vindicate conservatives from the attacks made to them by the liberal media. At the same time, though, it seemed a little too convenient. And it was. It was a disgusting hoax.
To make matters worse, two new Facebook profiles have emerged alleging to be the psychopathic murderer. As one would expect, everything on the profile shows Loughner, whose name they spell "Jared Laughner" in both cases and is the incorrect spelling, as a Tea Party conservative. It lists his political views as "Tea Party Patriot."
They also list his religious views as "JESUS," which is false because Loughner is an atheist. There have been reports that his mother is Jewish, though, we don't believe this has yet to be confirmed. Congressperson Giffords is also Jewish and Loughner, as some in the media reported, said he had ties to the American Renaissance, an extremist, anti-Semitic group. Again, none of this has been confirmed, but it would add another disturbing angle to the situation.
The worst part is that whoever made these fake profiles - we obviously believe this is the work of liberals - they specifically single out Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, FOX News, Bill O'Reilly and the entire Tea Party movement. It is absolutely sickening that the left is using this horrific event as a means to vilify their opposition with false information. The media is especially guilty of wrongdoing in this situation.
Also circulating the internet are fake Jared Loughner voting identification cards. People - again, more than likely liberals - have photoshopped his card so it shows he's a registered a Republican. He's not - he's an independent and last voted in the '08 election. We're not aware who he voted for.
What we're seeing is absolutely despicable. Liberal media outlets are using this event - again, where six people were murdered, including U.S. District Judge John Roll and nine-year old Christina Taylor Green, and Congressperson Giffords remains in critical condition after the attempted assassination attempt with a bullet to the head - to place blame on 40% of the American population that identify themselves as conservatives. Recall our article from yesterday on the disturbing attempts by the left to place the blame on individuals.
All of the misinformation continues to be reported by the liberal media and it's appalling. Check the facts before commenting on something this tragic. As we tweeted on Saturday at the beginning of the incident, this shouldn't be politicized. However, we're not going to sit back while the left says we have blood on our hands. Many on the left, including MSNBC and The New York Times, should apologize for their actions, though, we're not holding our breath.

Mother Jones published an interesting piece on Loughner at - website removed by administrator - basically Loughner had no coherent political philosophy just as he had no coherent moral philosophy (he lists left-leaning Marxist writings as well as right-leaning fascist writings as inspirations) -- he was simply an insane individual who acted on irrational grudges and meaningless belief structures.
Right-wing or left-wing -- to kill innocent people is wrong. Everyone, I hope, can agree on that.
They went out and demonized conservatives practically before the shell casings hit the floor. Really this event was no different than what Clinton did after Oklahoma city - blaming his critics on "talk radio" before the guy who did it was even known, let alone caught. No word yet on "John Doe #2)
Sadly, that dirty stunt was a major (upward) turning point in his Presidency.
Flea-baggers are Dirty.
Loughner made his you tube account in December, 1 month after the 2010 election. An election that Democratic candidate Giffords won. This is why he accuses a majority of the people in his state for being illiterate in his final video. Implying each person who voted for Giffords was incapable of reading the constitution.
Did you even bother to look at what Loughner was saying in those vids. He has other videos explaining the BCE ACE date system used with tea party currency.
Sometime you right wingers need to face it. This is like if we took the abortion doctor killer and just dismissed him as crazy and claiming him killing abortion doctors had nothing to do with the abortion issue.
There's just way too many things pointing to him considering himself A member of the Tea Party.
