Sporting his finest 1930's German mustache, Obama campaign advisor and serious creep David Axelrod is placing blame on the State Department for the terrorist attack and murder of U.S. ambassador in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. While not surprising, this perverse notion is intended solely to protect Barack Hussein Obama, who has only cared about his re-election for the past two years. The question remains, what role has the Obama campaign played in crafting the message on Benghazi?
This is a scandal of the first order - and it's just as scandalous that the elite media has conveniently treated this as a non-issue. An American ambassador was murdered, along with four other Americans. Of all days, this took place on the anniversary of September 11, a day when there's no excuse why security wasn't heightened, particularly in a region with a growing threat of al Qaeda. During the Vice Presidential debate, the moron Joe Biden acted as if he didn't know that the Libyan consulate requested additional security and other details. This troubling revelation proved further that the Obama administration views the Benghazi situation as a distraction to the community organizer's re-election.
David Alexrod, who coordinates and crafts everything that comes out of Obama's mouth, pushed a narrative that the State Department was to blame for the Benghazi situation.
President Barack Obama’s chief re-election campaign strategist David Axelrod told “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace that the State Department — not the White House — was responsible for lax security at the Benghazi embassy prior to the deadly Sept. 11 terror attack that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
“The White House was talking about what the White House knew,” Axelrod said, referring to Vice President Joe Biden’s statement during a debate Thursday night that “we weren’t told” personnel in Benghazi had asked for extra security measures.
“There are embassies all over the world and requests all over the world and these requests go over the the security professionals at the State Department,” Axelrod said. “And there’s no doubt that some of these matters went into the security department of the State Department. But it didn’t come to the White House, and that’s what the vice president was responding to.”
Officials in the Obama administration, including U.N. ambassador Susan Rice, initially claimed that the attack was the result of a protest occurring outside the embassy over an anti-Islam YouTube video.
When it became clear that account was inaccurate, however, the White House scrambled to blame intelligence agencies and the State Department for various oversights.
“These kinds of issues are handled in the State Department by security officials,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said during Friday’s press briefing.
Wallace reminded Axelrod about Biden’s insistence that the State Department never informed the White House that more security was necessary.
“We weren’t told they wanted more security,” Biden told moderator Martha Raddatz, contradicting several State Department officials, who recently testified under oath that they had requested more security at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. “We did not know they wanted more security.”
But Axelrod remained defiant, before pausing to emphasize Obama’s personal stake in the Benghazi incident.
“These matters were being handled by the State Department,” Axelrod repeated. “Here’s the fundamental thing: Nobody on this planet is more concerned about getting to the bottom of this than the president of the United States. … He knew Chris Stevens, he admired Chris Stevens. We want to get to the bottom of it.”
The bigger question relates to U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice. This liberal ideologue is an incompetent and was given her role out of pity. Five days after the terrorist attack in Libya, Rice was on every Sunday talk show making statements that an anti-Islam video was the reason behind the attacks. She based this on "intelligence."
So, was the Obama campaign, most notably David Axelrod and Obama's surrogate mother Valerie Jarrett, in contact with Susan Rice? Did they help craft Rice's message in order to insulate President Obama from the attack? The odds are very high, as they don't care about what happened in Benghazi. As Obama said, it's just a bump in the road.
