White House Compromise on Obamacare's HHS Birth Control Mandate Changes Nothing

The White House announced they will have the Health and Human Services (HHS) department enforce a regulation - something all too common with this administration - to adjust Obamacare's mandate that Catholic institutions provide birth control to their employees. To be clear, the White House is NOT calling this a compromise, but rather an accommodation. That tells you everything you need to know. Essentially, HHS is throwing the monkey on the back of insurance companies and itaking it off of employers. Translation: employers can offer insurance that's against their conscience or get fined heavily by the government. President Obama didn't cave, accommodate or compromise - he created a distraction. Nothing has changed.
Religious employers still need to face their conscience: they either pay the insurer for a product that violates their faith or they pay a hefty fine. How is that an accommodation or a compromise? It's neither.
Part of the Obamacare bill, somewhere in the near 30,000 pages when footnotes are included, forces insurance companies to offer contraception for free. This was put together by liberal special interest groups that worked with President Obama's politburo. How come it only covers birth control? Why not asthma? Or inner thigh rashes, something common among liberals? It's because liberals believe their ideas are far superior to anyone else's. Or as it's commonly said, liberalism: ideas so good they're mandatory!
This is a major issue that has been sidestepped to end the constant barrage of negative press. The White House created this distraction to take the focus off of an extremely important issue: Obamacare. The good news that comes from this is that Americans have been reminded how disgusting of a law Obamacare is and how much liberty and freedom has been eliminated with the tyrannical actions of the Obama administration. This will be the most sensitive election issue if Obamacare isn't found unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.
The only downside for America in this situation is if Mitt Romney becomes the Republican presidential nominee. His Romneycare was a blueprint for Obamacare and faced similar issues when he was governor regarding religious institutions. It will be tough for Romney to use this to attack Obama.
This Obamacare HHS mandate that Catholic institutions pay for birth control will not go away until the law is repealed.
