NAACP Forced Out Shirley Sherrod, Not Andrew Breitbart

From the criminal front group that goes by the name of Media Matters for America to other left-wing blogs, liberals are accusing BigGovernment.com's Andrew Breitbart for lying about the Shirley Sherrod video.  Well, if you're a liberal looking for a convenient answer so you can continue your drone mentality, then by all means, your mission is accomplished.  But the video uncovered by Breitbart reveals racist comments made by Shirley Sherrod, director of Rural Development in Georgia for the Department of Agriculture, at an NAACP event, which ultimately led to her forced resignation.  Breitbart is not to blame.

The liberal media would love for everyone to believe that Andrew Breitbart is the reason that Shirley Sherrod was fired.  This is completely false.  Breitbart nor the Tea Party movement asked for Sherrod to be fired from her position.  In fact, nothing of the sort was ever discussed.  The target of the release of this video was the NAACP, who last week passed a resolution condemning the non-existent racism in the Tea Party movement.  The objective was to show how the liberal media lapped up the racist resolution by providing a platform for the NAACP, but ignored racism within the race-baiting organization.  Breitbart wanted everyone to see the racist elements of the NAACP.

The full tape of Shirley Sherrod's video was released, which shows that Sherrod was referring to a situation that happened 24-years ago while working for a non-profit organization.  The point here is that the theme didn't change, but only the time and setting.  Members of the NAACP still laughed at Sherrod's racist remarks.  The context didn't change.

The brouhaha is now whether Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack should have forced Sherrod's resignation.  Vilsack claimed that the White House played no role in his decision.  We'll call his bluff on that - there's no doubt the White House was involved in the NAACP's racist resolution last week.  After all, mid-term elections are just a few months away and they need to get their radical base riled-up.

Breitbart never called on Shirley Sherrod to be fired.  In fact, Sherrod is blaming the NAACP for her forced resignation, saying that "They are the reason this happened."

The rest of the story, though, it sounds like Sherrod learned her lesson and that it's not about race.  But the question now is whether or not the NAACP will follow on the subject of race.  The NAACP's president, Todd Jealous, a race baiter if there ever was one, initially said Sherrod's remarks were "shameful," but later retracted that statement and decided to blame FOX News and Andrew Breitbart.

"With regard to the initial media coverage of the resignation of the USDA official Shirley Sherrod, we have come to the conclusion we were snookered by FOX News and Tea Party activist Andrew Breitbart into believing she had harmed white farmers because of racial bias.  Having reviewed the full tape, spoken to Ms. Sherrod, and most importantly heard the testimony of the white farmers mentioned in this story, we now believe the organization that edited the documents did so with the intention of deceiving millions of Americans."

Todd Jealous, another racist drone.  The facts still point to Sherrod using racism when describing how she planned on helping the white farmer, or should we say not entirely helping the farmer because he was white.  But facts are meaningless to liberals unless they support their cause.  Todd Jealous is a race-baiting ignoramus, and it's fair to toss the NAACP into that description.  Nobody on the right called for Shirley Sherrod to be fired.  She was fired because of the actions of the NAACP and their racist war against the Tea Party movement.
